When it comes to mix 2k epoxy materials on construction site the LX mixing paddle and the Xo 1 HF hand-held mixers would be the perfect equipment.
Especially the LX mixing paddle is the right tool for mixing EP resins or coating materials. And the Xo 1 HF hand-held mixer provides the right drive for this special mixing job.

In our today practical example we show the suitability of the LX mixing paddle with the mixing material Brillux FloorTec System (consisting of the Epoxy Hardener 849 and the 2K Epoxy Seal 848).
Observe the basic details about the device and material in the operating instructions or in the manufacturers’ technical data sheets. Insert the LX mixing paddle into the Hexafix coupling of the Xo 1 HF. Add hardener components to the base varnish. Mix the base varnish and the hardener (pay attention to the correct mixing effect: from top to bottom): Put the Xo 1 HF hand-mixer in the mix and start it at the same time. Work at a reduced motor speed at the start and end of the mixing process to avoid splashes and jerks. During the mixing process, the paddle must be completely covered with material. At the start of the mixing process, the effect of the mixing can still be clearly observed. During the further course of the mixing process, increase the motor speed to the maximum and maintain for the entire mixing time. Pass the machine through the mixing bucket during the mixing process. Keep to the mixing time (see details on the container label or on the material manufacturer’s technical data sheet). No streaks should be visible. After the pot time, transfer the material to a fresh, unused container and briefly stir. The coating is now ready for use.
