SCHWAN
Kožul Group has added a new brand to its offer - SCHWAN. These are tools from the German company Schwan Werkzeuge, which offers a wide range of products, from spring scales to high-quality tools for masons.
Long-standing tradition
Five generations shaped the development of the Schwan tool factory. The roots of the company are located in Lüttringhausen near Düsseldorf, it was founded in 1884 by Hermann Schwandt. The start of production and work was a great success. The Hermann Schwandt tool factory quickly gained a reputation as a manufacturer of scales and spring scales. Revenues from production and sales enabled the immediate expansion of business activities and areas. Special focus was placed on products such as fine tools, mason's tools and scrapers. In this way, the foundation was laid for the rise to a famous mason's tool factory already at the end of the 19th century. The business was later expanded to the production of woodworking tools and the sale of special tools for woodworking machines. Veith Pohlig is currently the fifth generation running the company.
Wide range
Continuous innovations in more efficient and modern production facilities and procedures, as well as constant training and development of their employees, are two factors that have strengthened the company's competence on the market. Schwan's production and sales range now includes more than 8,000 items. They are focused on the production of masonry and finishing tools and scrapers. Thus, they offer complete production ranges for almost every field of application and all types of markets.
In May 2024, the company celebrated its 140th anniversary.
Kožul d.o.o. is the distributor of the Schwan brand for the Croatian market.
